Elloree Realty is committed to being more than just a business who helps you sell or buy a house; Elloree
Realty wants to make sure you find the home you'll love. We know we'd be an excellent
choice for your
home purchasing or selling needs. If you don't select Elloree Realty as your agent, make sure you pick an
agent who can compare with our dedication, honesty and work ethic. Before choosing a realtor, ask some
important questions of yourself which you will need to relay to your realtor...
"Down scaling or growing? How many bedrooms and bathrooms will our family need? What school district
do I most like? What area is most convenient for work, school and errand travel? Can I afford a new
home?"
While all these questions are important, the last one seems to be the one that causes the greatest concern
for most people. To be approved for a mortgage by most lenders you need to have good credit, two years
steady employment within the same company or business as well as have sufficient money in the bank.
While some lenders can allow you to put down a mere three percent of the cost of the home, most prefer
anywhere from 10 to 20 % of your own money. If less than 20%, nearly all mortgagers require principle
mortgage insurance. Your realtor should discuss the possible mortgages available, including
conventional, VA and FHA. A professional agent will also know the local housing market thoroughly. The real estate
agent you select should know the best way to market your home, or have enough know-how about you
to help you select an appealing home.
